Spotlighting the Northeast
John
Rullan
John pursued his career in Cisco in
1998 after working the IT aspect of the automotive
field. Currently, he is teaching all senior Cisco
classes at
Thomas Edison Career and
Technical Education High School in Queens, NY.
He is actively involved with
Cisco
and published tow lab manuals, Wan Technologies CCNA 4
Labs & Study Guide and Accessing the Wan CCNA
Exploration Labs & Study Guide. John has also assisted
in Cisco's structural support, curriculum development,
assessment team and
packet tracer team. He resides in Queens, NY. |
Jessie
Kalloo
Jessie entered the Success Via
Apprenticeship program at
Thomas Edison Career and
Technical Education High School to become
a Cisco Academy teacher. This unique program
allows him to alternate trade-to-classroom
settings. Jessie has student taught A+
Computer Repair from September 2009 to
February 2010 at Queens
Vocational & Technical High School.
Currently, he is working at Queens Hospital
Center as a Systems Analyst in the IT
department. He will be student teaching again
in
February 2011 at
East New York Transit
Technical High School in
Brooklyn, NY. Jessie currently resides in
Queens, NY.

Irvin
QueenIrvin is currently
teaching Cisco Networking and IT Essentials at the
School of
Cooperative
Technical
Education (Co-op Tech) in Manhattan, NY. Irvin
has been teaching for the past 23 years and worked in
industry prior to starting his teaching career. His
goals are to see Cisco Explorer and Discovery along with
upgraded labs be in his school by 2011. Irvin resides
in Bronx, NY. |
Angel
Morales
Angel
has been teaching at
Samuel Gompers Career and
Technical Education High School, Bronx,
NY for 20 years. He currently teaches Discovery I
& III with 22 students in each class. He holds
the Cisco CCNA and A+ certifications. Angel's
teaching philosophy is to explore,
discover and then expand on what he's taught to
his students. He likes to link the courses he
teaches to industry and teach the
basic skills to fit the needs of
industry. He resides in Bronx, N.Y.
