The High School Network Security Competition engages high schools students by using skills-based competitions. For information about participating or supporting this effort, please contact John Sands at sands@morainevalley.edu

 

The following resources will help students become familiar with specific aspects of the competition and provide supplemental material to practice skills which will better prepare them for the competition.
  • Videos - The video library demonstrates some of the more complex procedures that will be required of participating students.
  • Lab Exercises - This is a series of exercises, worksheets, and NetLab activities designed to provide hands-on experience for the student. The video library supports each of these activities.
  • Packet Tracer Files - This is a series of 12 Packet Tracer exercises designed to address the essential skills required using the latest version of Packet Tracer.
  • Security Tools - This is a collection of security tools that students should become familiar with because they may be used as part of the competition.
